Recommendation Methodology
FindYaTech recommendations are research-based, using buyer priorities, published product specifications, retailer information, and independent reviews where available. FindYaTech does not physically test every model it recommends.

What we evaluate
We start with the buyer’s workload, budget, operating-system requirements, portability needs, and desired lifespan. We then compare an exact model and configuration rather than treating every product-family name as interchangeable.
Memory, storage, processor class, graphics capability, display, ports, repairability, battery evidence, weight, warranty, and current availability are considered in proportion to the intended use.
Evidence standards
Official sources support specifications. Independent reviewers support experience-based claims such as measured battery runtime, sustained performance, surface temperatures, fan noise, keyboard comfort, and display measurements.
Every recommendation should state when its specifications and availability were checked, the benefits and drawbacks, and who should or should not buy it.
Prices and availability
Prices and configurations can change quickly. FindYaTech does not treat a static price in editorial copy as a live offer; shoppers should confirm the exact configuration and current terms at the retailer.
